Mass Effect 3

Ready to Save Earth One Last Time!

The 3rd installment of Mass Effect is finally here and players around the world are ready for some action.   Expectations are running high as the previous 2 installments of Mass Effect were high and broke outstanding numbers sale records.  Can Mass Effect 3 break the previous game record?  There is only one way to find out.  Wait until the records sales come out at the end of the week.

In case you are wondering about the story plot it is fairly simple.  You are put into a war where you choose how you aim to fight and what kind of achievements you aim to score.   Because it is a galactic war, you play as the characters available and choose the side you want to be in.  Everything else is all up to you.

The game features in Mass Effect 3 are as follows.  Like Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, any player with saved files from these games can also play it in Mass Effect 3.   The 3rd installment offers 3 set modes, Action Mode, Story Mode, and RPG Mode.  According to an article in Wikipedia, the Action Mode will have difficulty in combat and automatic replies.   Story Mode, will have manual replies and less intensity of combat.   RPG Mode will also have manual replies and normal combat difficulty.

With that being said more surprises are aiming to come our way in Mass Effect 3.  Now you choose your destiny and see the outcome of your choices.

Are You Ready For It?

Ready For The T Virus?

Here is a question I am asking all Resident Evil fan all over the world.  Are you ready for what Resident Evil 6 is going to bring?  I am most certainly not ready.  What I am ready for is the review and features releases of the game by Capcom.  I am not sure when it may come out, but you know GameSpot and other gaming sites are ready for press releases.

The game itself is said to have more features in both single player and campaign mode.  In the single player mode,  you play as one of Umbrella's Security Soldier roaming around Raccoon City only to accomplish one thing.  Search for every living survivor and every single zombie, and eliminate them.  Sounds simple and cruel, but we all know that Umbrella's motto.

For those who do not know where the story originates from, it's coming from Resident Evil 2.  If you recall one of main character, Leon.  By remembering the original trailer from Resident Evil 2, or from the game, you see Leon driving into Raccoon City.  If you look at the new trailer of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City, it brings back old memories.

The story, on the other hand, has not changed at all.  The only big difference is having a new special forces team sent by Umbrella Corporation to sweep the entire city and make it seem as if there are no survivors.  Only to keep there hides clean from the T virus incident.
Let's see how long this will last.  I'm curious to see how Umbrella Corp will get out this one.

Twisted Metal 2012

Twisted Metal (PS3)

The new Twisted Metal game is out and ready for action. After a decade since the last release of Twisted Metal, the game itself undergone a few twists on its own.  In the articles of IGN and Gamespot, both give a new prospective on how the single player campaign.  Throughout most of the Twisted Metal series each character had a different story and reason for being in the tournament.  This time what makes Twisted Metal more twisted is that now you have three groups in one campaign.

In other words, you the following characters, Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grimm and Doll Face,  taking a group of their own henchmen and getting involved in a war.  Honestly, its almost like gang war.  In the single player campaign you can play as each character and their not limited to one vehicle only.  There is selection of vehicles to choose from.  You are not tied down to one vehicle per character.

Still there is not much information about the newly released Twisted Metal game.  Because it was released yesterday in stores, every fan of the Twisted Metal series will have lots to talk about when they play the game. This also includes myself because I once was a hardcore Twisted Metal fan.  But I stopped playing when Twisted Metal Black came out for Playstation 2.

Resident Evil Part 6

What makes Resident Evil, Resident Evil?

Since the fifth installment of the epic zombie series of Resident Evil 5, we have lots of stories from familiar characters whom we have seen in the past games.  Just to name a few characters who we have seen up now since the first 3 Resident Evil games are the following, Leon, Clair, Chris, etc.

Because the Resident Evil series has come a long way since its first release of the original Resident Evil game.  I am quite sure that many fans are expecting a lot to happen in this game.  So far what we know up to now is that Capcom's release date of Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City is March 20th.  It has some news features that will take players by surprise.

Just to give you an inside on what Resident Evil is about, here is a brief story for those who are getting into the game series.  Long ago, there was a virus created by Umbrella Corporation.  The virus was known as the G-Virus and was first unleashed in one of it facilities.  The virus was intended to bring the dead back alive to live amongst the living, however the experiment went entirely wrong.  A group of members known as the S.T.A.R.S units were sent out to investigate what had happened.  Little did each member know what waited for them in the mansion.

I might be off in the story a little bit or a whole lot, but it is just mainly to give you an idea of what the series is all about.

The game itself has changed a lot over the years.  When Resident Evil first came for the Sony Playstation.  The character was a bit difficult to control.  I have no forgotten how many times I had to restart the game over and over.  I kept playing the game until I was able to get past the zombie in the first segment of the game.

When Resident Evil 3 came out for the Playstation, I enjoyed the moments playing as Jill Valentine.  Being able to dodge Nemesis was not an easy task.  If you were ever caught by him, the battle you faced against him was very tough.  I remembered losing to him a lot.  Eventually I managed to beat him.  But it was not easy at all.

However, the 6th installment of Resident Evil returns back to Raccoon City.  For those who remember Resident Evil 2.  Here's a story no one ever knew about.
