PS3 News

What new game(s) have come out for the PS3?

Just yesterday the long awaited popular game Twisted Metal finally was released with some new features within the game.  According to IGN.com, the new feature of the game is that it is split into three groups within the single player campaign.  Unlike the past games where each character had one vehicle and one particular set of special move.  It seems the creators of Twisted Metal managed to come up with a new twist in the series.  A twist not too many fans are aware of or have been aware for quite some time.

The review for Twisted Metal has been great.  Between GameSpot and IGN, they both are pulling record numbers in people's thoughts and reactions to the newly released game. Most people are actually excited to see a change in the type of games being released, especially for the Playstation 3.  More importantly, because the last Twisted Metal game was released about a decade ago.  Every fan of Twisted Metal is very eager to see how the game has changed and to see what news awaits each player.

Switching gears from competitive action to scary attraction one game along with Twisted Metal also was released yesterday.  For those who are very familiar with House of the Dead 3, the third installment was released to compete with Twisted Metal.  Honestly, I think Twisted Metal might take on House of the Dead and surpass it in sales.  But truth be told, when was the last House of the Dead released?  I don't even remember, but fans of this game quite do and they remember very well.

Resident Evil Operations Raccoon City - 6th Installment

In addition to the new release of Twisted Metal, I am more than sure many fans have either heard or about to hear the new announcement for Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City.  After watching the trailer, I am very interested in seeing several familiar faces like Leon, and the original Nemesis with the trench coat, Mr. X.  This time the story takes place in Raccoon City, but as a side story to Resident Evil 2.  I think this game is going to surpass its sales like the Resident Evil 5.  How many people believe Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City will be one of the best game sin the series?

Honestly, as a Resident Evil fan I am very confident that it will have lots of great features like it's multi-player part of the game you can play up to four players.   What it even better is the single player mode is that you get the chance to play as they Umbrella Security Soldier (USS).  As you fight against zombies and go up against a team of armed forces set eliminate any survivors within Raccoon City.

Will you be set for the challenge in the month of March against such forces?

Now Available Mass Effect 3!

The 3rd installment of Mass Effect is finally here and players around the world are ready for some action.   Expectations are running high as the previous 2 installments of Mass Effect were high and broke outstanding numbers sale records.  Can Mass Effect 3 break the previous game record?  There is only one way to find out.  Wait until the records sales come out at the end of the week.

In case you are wondering about the story plot it is fairly simple.  You are put into a war where you choose how you aim to fight and what kind of achievements you aim to score.   Because it is a galactic war, you play as the characters available and choose the side you want to be in.  Everything else is all up to you.

The game features in Mass Effect 3 are as follows.  Like Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, any player with saved files from these games can also play it in Mass Effect 3.   The 3rd installment offers 3 set modes, Action Mode, Story Mode, and RPG Mode.  According to an article in Wikipedia, the Action Mode will have difficulty in combat and automatic replies.   Story Mode, will have manual replies and less intensity of combat.   RPG Mode will also have manual replies and normal combat difficulty.

With that being said more surprises are aiming to come our way in Mass Effect 3.  Now you choose your destiny and see the outcome of your choices.
